Who we are

Onthlabanetse, Karen & Kristof are the founders of Heaven’s Hope.  As active members of the Middelburg community, we are passionate about making a positive difference and creating hope and opportunities for vulnerable people in our town.

We believe change starts small — with people who are willing to step in, build relationships and make a difference where they are.

Matthew 7:24-25 - 24  - “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”

Vision and Mission

To protect the vulnerable in our society, with special care for children, youth and young adults.

To empower and disciple individuals, groups and families with biblical truth and principles for life to become agents of transformation.

To see individuals and families transformed through God's love and by providing opportunities for academic growth, training and life skills development.

We believe lasting transformation happens when local people are empowered to become leaders within their own communities. Rather than creating dependency, we aim to build relationships, develop skills and strengthen existing community structures.
